Clay is a 2006 graduate of Auburn University with a focus on Marketing. He is an active member at Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church, where he and his wife Jennifer have attended for over five years. They have three children, Mason, Maddox, and Miller. In his spare time he enjoys following Auburn sports and enjoying the outdoors, specifically his passion for hunting.
