The program highlights Phoenix-area companies with great workplace practices whose operations are changing the business landscape. Once a company registers, they are assigned an access code that is then distributed to company employees. A tiered percentage of each company’s employees has to log on to Quantum’s Web site, enter their company access code and take an employee survey about their workplace. The data is then gathered and a proprietary formula is used to rank companies based solely on employee feedback. In order for a company to make the Best Places to Work list, it has to receive a score of 80 percent or greater based on the ranking formula. Arizona’s best and brightest real estate companies, real estate agents and residential communities are honored by the AREA Awards presented by AZ Business Magazine.

ACE AWARD WINNER
	Homeowners Financial Group was just awarded with the prestigious Arizona Corporate Excellence Award (ACE Award) for Top 25 “Fastest Growing Companies” for 2010.The winners on this list are ranked by revenue over the most recent two years. The formula is based 1/2 on actual dollar growth over those two years, and 1/2 on percentage-revenue growth over those same years. This formula puts both small and large companies on an even playing field. Each have an equal shot at making the list. Any formula using just one half of the equation would favor either small or large companies. This formula has been used and remains unchanged throughout the history of the ACE Awards program. Private companies, especially smaller ones, do a great deal of good in our community that goes completely unnoticed and unpublicized. It is this group that we felt deserves more recognition for their many efforts. Hence, the ACE Awards is focused only on privately-owned companies.
