Sandra Gonzalez started with us in September 2015 and is crushing it as a Loan Processor in Tampa, FL. A Processor plays a central role in the loan approval process to ensure a timely closing. In constant communication with the Loan Officer and Underwriter, she makes sure the I’s are dotted and T’s crossed with all financial documents and tells the story about the client moving towards homeownership. Working on numerous transactions, her drive to deliver top-quality service helps Sandra maintain her quick pace. “I love a challenge and my position here at HFG is always putting that to the test. My greatest satisfaction is helping others. I am always learning, always growing and feel that I have all the tools and training here at HFG to allow me to do my job effectively and efficiently.”
Outside of work, she has one thing in mind: unwind. She explains, “I just like to take time to relax and celebrate life and family! Nothing is more important than taking time to enjoy each and every day.” Sandra likes to create crafts and uses her artsy side when designing interiors. Being originally from the Philadelphia area, Sandra loves the E-A-G-L-E-S and proudly displays her jersey on casual Fridays. A recent Super Bowl win over Manager Alvaro’s favorite team gave her a year of bragging rights. This is all in fun, of course, with the same good-time spirit always shining on her face. “Laughing is something I do a lot of,” she says. “Sometimes, too much (just ask my co-workers).” We say keep it up as we love your infectious positivity.
Back at work, Sandra displays a passion for helping others outside of mortgage loans. The Tampa branch, a 2 consecutive year Best Place to Work, will be kicking off their summer charitable initiative in June. Recent organizations this branch has assisted include Grady Elementary School and The Children’s Home. “I am extremely proud to be a Homie, part of such a giving and loving community of people,” she states.
