As part of our commitment to show appreciation and recognition to our people for the quality of their work and dedication, Homeowners Financial Group is proud to present our 2019 Community Champion of the Year Award! Congratulations to our two winners, Cortney Suell, Servicing Financial Specialist and Kelsey Waite, Marketing Manager for being selected as Co-Champions for 2019!

Both Co-Champions were acknowledged for their positive impact and commitment toward their local communities. We would also like to recognize our two runner-up finalists, Brian Esposito, Branch Manager and Lia Moats, Sales Transition Coordinator for their community support and dedication.

The annual Community Champion award aims to celebrate employees that have consistently demonstrated qualities of compassion and service to nonprofit organizations by participating in various acts of service both inside and outside of the company. Nominees will have shown outstanding community participation through various philanthropic and volunteer opportunities such as volunteering time for a nonprofit, fundraising for a nonprofit, sitting on a nonprofit board and/or committee, and participating in company provided volunteer initiatives.

“When I saw our final four nominees, I knew narrowing it down to just one recipient was going to be tough,” shared President + CEO Bill Rogers. “That’s why we chose to honor two finalists with a Co-Champion title. Our nominees are all incredibly deserving and I feel beyond grateful that we have so many community leaders within HFG.”
