Cheyenne

“Customers will never love a company until the employees love it first.” — Simon Sinek

This belief sits at the heart of everything Cheyenne Lee does. Since joining Homeowners Financial Group in February 2023 as our HR Generalist, Cheyenne has been a steady and trusted presence—someone who ensures that every Homie feels supported, valued, and empowered from day one. Based out of our Scottsdale, AZ Corporate Office, she plays a critical role in shaping the employee experience across the entire organization.

HR is about far more than policies and processes—it’s about people. Cheyenne manages the full employee lifecycle with intention and care, from recruiting and onboarding new talent to supporting employee relations, benefits, performance conversations, and compliance. Whether she’s coordinating interviews, guiding new hires through orientation, or helping a Homie navigate a sensitive situation, she brings clarity, empathy, and calm to every interaction. That balance of professionalism and positivity doesn’t go unnoticed. As Ashlyn Pinter, Director of HR, puts it: “What in the world would I do without the other half of the small but mighty HR team! You amaze me every day with all that you juggle, and with a smile on your face and positive attitude. Thanks for everything you do to make HFG a great place to work!”

One of Cheyenne’s greatest strengths is her ability to meet people where they are—while still ensuring the organization stays aligned, compliant, and moving forward.

“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” – Chinese Proverb

This mindset shows up daily in how Cheyenne approaches the employee experience. She is proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused, always looking for the right balance between structure and flexibility. From ensuring proper documentation and timelines are followed to adjusting support based on individual needs, she understands that the best outcomes happen when people feel both guided and supported. Her ability to go above and beyond—without losing sight of collaboration—is something many across the company have come to rely on. Eric Zeier, National Sales Manager, and Jenna Greenberg, Executive Assistant, shared: “I truly appreciate the dedication, professionalism, and positive energy that Cheyenne brings to our team every day. Her ability to go above and beyond, while maintaining a collaborative and supportive attitude, makes a real difference in our workplace. She not only delivers exceptional results but also inspires those around us with her work ethic and kindness. I’m so grateful to have someone as reliable, talented, and committed as her on our team. Looking forward to many more years working together.”

Behind the scenes, Cheyenne keeps HR systems and processes running smoothly—maintaining accurate records, leveraging HR technology, supporting reporting, and ensuring policies are followed. But what truly defines her impact is how she shows up for people. No matter how busy her day gets, she makes time to answer questions, offer reassurance, and help others succeed.

“You don’t build a business. You build people, and people build the business.” – Zig Ziglar

This philosophy is reflected not only in Cheyenne’s work, but in how others experience her. Erik Philipp, Director of Recruiting, describes it best: “Cheyenne is truly a gift to our company and an incredible teammate. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She leads with kindness, patience, and a genuine desire to help others succeed. No matter how busy she is, she always makes time to jump in, answer questions, and offer support with such a positive and encouraging spirit.”

That same people-first mindset extends beyond HR and into Homeowners’ culture as a whole. As an integral member of the Vibe Tribe, Cheyenne helps bring creativity, collaboration, and connection to life—contributing ideas that strengthen relationships, boost engagement, and enhance the overall “vibe” across the company.  Erik continues, capturing what so many Homies feel: “I am so grateful for Cheyenne and thrilled to see her recognized for the amazing support she gives every single day. She is the true definition of a Homie, and her heart to serve others is both inspiring and deeply appreciated. We are blessed have her on our team.”

Cheyenne Lee strengthens Homeowners Financial Group from the inside out. Through her dedication, flexibility, and genuine care for people, she helps ensure that HFG isn’t just a place where great work happens—but a place where people truly belong. We’re incredibly grateful for you, Cheyenne. 💙
