About Danielle Swiatek

Danielle is Executive Vice President, Solutions & Adoption at Homeowners Financial Group, where she leads enterprise initiatives focused on turning strategy into action, strengthening sales support, and helping people successfully adopt the tools, processes and programs designed to move the organization forward. Her areas of leadership include sales services, strategic project management, training, enterprise adoption and change initiatives, with a current emphasis on AI implementation, education and employee adoption.

With more than two decades of experience spanning mortgage banking, leadership development, project management, customer experience and nonprofit work, Danielle brings a distinctly people-first approach to organizational performance. She believes strong relationships are at the heart of strong organizations and genuinely enjoys getting to know the people she works with- what motivates them, where they want to grow and how she can help them get there. She is passionate about developing people, improving productivity, and creating practical solutions that make work more effective, efficient and, whenever possible, a little more fun.

Her contributions have been recognized with HFG’s inaugural Employee of the Year award in 2004, the Five Star Professional Rising Star Award in 2022 and the HousingWire Insider Award in 2023.

Buffalo born and raised, Danielle is a proud Western New Yorker. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Business from Arizona State University, where she held leadership roles with Delta Gamma and served as a member of ASASU. She also holds a Professional Certificate in Project Management from Virginia Tech.

Danielle began her mortgage career in 2001 and joined HFG in 2004, its founding year. In the early days of the company, an “all hands on deck” environment gave her the opportunity to work across nearly every aspect of the business. Over the course of her mortgage career, she has served as a production assistant and team lead supporting high-volume licensed mortgage professionals and teams, a processor, an independent originator and top producer, and even spent time as an IT administrator during HFG’s earliest years.

After taking a sabbatical from the mortgage industry, Danielle broadened her leadership experience across business management, customer experience, nonprofit fundraising and events, research administration and people development. Her work included community engagement and large-scale event planning for a local cancer center and leadership roles centered on people development, customer experience and community initiatives. She returned to HFG with an expanded perspective on leadership, organizational development and customer and employee experience.

Danielle also played an instrumental role in developing HFG’s Care Fund, a nonprofit providing mortgage and rent assistance to families navigating a child’s health-related crisis. As its first Executive Director, she helped establish the organization’s brand, operating and award processes, marketing and community outreach; developed relationships with key community partners and families; and represented the organization before audiences and sponsors to expand awareness and support.

Outside of HFG, Danielle serves on the Board of Project 33 Memorial Foundation as Treasurer. Project 33 is dedicated to preserving the memories of U.S. Special Operations soldiers killed in action since September 11, 2001, educating others about their sacrifice and ensuring their names are never forgotten.

At her core, Danielle is a connector, problem-solver and perpetual people person. She loves a good challenge, a great conversation and finding ways to bring the right people and ideas together. A member of HFG’s internal culture committee, the Vibe Tribe, she’s equally passionate about creating a workplace where people feel connected, supported and have some fun along the way. While she takes the work seriously, she doesn’t believe you have to take yourself too seriously while doing it. And dog lovers will find an easy conversation starter- her four-legged coworker has been known to make an occasional appearance on Teams and Zoom calls.
