This month’s Homie Highlight is a servant leader for Homeowners Financial Group, always putting others in front of himself. Originating loans and overseeing a branch requires balance and the ability to always be counted on in any situation. These leaders also recognize that together we are greater than the sum of our parts, as evidenced by a recent comment from him: “The hugs at closing… the invitations from borrowers to come to house warming… one could say that is all me but it is not… it is the company! So many people here at HFG make me successful.”
Clint Hickox joined HFG in March 2017 and is a Producing Branch Manager for our Jacksonville, FL branch. Starting with just 2 employees, Clint has grown it to 12 with plans to open a second location in this market very soon. When he told CEO Bill Rogers and President Pat Lamb of this 2019 goal, they responded, “Grow it! We are behind you 100%.” With full steam ahead, Clint knows he will have success. “What more can you ask from your management team. I truly LOVE being here!” he says. Regional Manager Bill Dickens states of his longtime friend, “One of the most loyal, and genuine men you will ever meet, I have the utmost respect for Clint and what he’s done in Jacksonville for HFG!” All the Homies are cheering you on Clint and ready to assist in the growth.
A true family man, Clint never misses a chance to spend time with his wife Kim and their 2 children. In his normal comedic way, “I did something wrong as a parent… my kids want to spend as much time with my wife and I as they can.” Although the kids have careers and left the nest, 2 nights a week they have a traditional sit-down dinner to catch up and enjoy life together. In the random fact arena, Clint loves gators. Yes, alligators, and of course he does!
“EVERY DAY I COME TO WORK I FEEL VALUED,” says Clint, which is apparent as he helps thousands of homeowners fulfill the dream of homeownership. Due to his prior involvement as a Lender Advisory Board Member with the Florida Housing Finance Corp., he ensures the mortgage experience will be fast, easy, and hassle-free for homebuyers and real estate professionals. Of course with a smile he adds, “I enjoy getting up every day to come to work.
