Anyone who has gone through the homebuying process can attest that closing on time is the number one priority. Minimizing the stress leading up to it is a close number two. VP of Production Management, Nitesh Patel, speaks of his determined employee and this month’s Highlight: “The Closing department recognizes that we are the last impression in the buying process. Not only is it our responsibility, but also our joy to deliver consistent service for each client we are lucky to work with. She is a driving force in making that happen 100% of the time and another reason why we have so many repeat clients. I am truly blessed to have a great team surrounding me. As they say, you are only as good as those you surround yourself with.”
Lisa Bain, Closing Team Lead, started her journey at HFG in June of 2016 and works her tail off at our Scottsdale, AZ Corporate office. Her role as the team lead is to provide direction and be a valuable resource to the Closing department at such a critical point during the loan process. Lisa also rolls up her sleeves every day preparing closing loan packages for individual loan types in accordance with Bank and Investor guidelines as well as Secondary Marketing requirements. Once our borrower signs, the final component of her closing role is to perform a pre-funding review of the documents for accuracy and issue the funding authorization to complete the dream of homeownership.
When Lisa is not making dreams come true at the office, she is enjoying the great outdoors. And we mean a lot. Of her favorite activities, mountain biking alongside her husband Daniel may be at the top of her list. As Arizona has started to cool down, the entire family will be making multiple camping trips over the next few months. That includes their two fur babies Butters and Gus who love to tag and wag along. For stress relief and getting that heart rate elevated, Lisa loves boxing. Look out for that upper cut!
Back at the office, Lisa talks about the Homeowners Financial Group employee experience, expressing, “I enjoy coming into the office and being surrounded by extraordinary individuals. Our team has grown personally and professionally into a strong support system.” Always keeping our clients’ interests at the top, she adds, “We enjoy the hustle and bustle, with the reward of putting an individual or family into their home.” A consistent thread for all our employees is a sense of community and knowing our commitment to them. In a recent summer charitable initiative, Lisa jumped right into the opportunity to give back. “I was able to join fellow Homies in preparing meals for children in need at Feed My Starving Children. Having the ability to take time out of the day to show we care about others is truly amazing.
