Ruthie“I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint – and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.” -Oprah Winfrey

As fingerprints make marks, so has this month’s Highlight in just a short time since joining the organization. Rolling up her sleeves, getting dirty and saying YES to any requests for assistance have become quickly recognized by her peers. She speaks of her individual qualities and how they fit with HFG’s methodology of empowering our people, saying, “I feel that HFG truly cares about my career development. I am always being challenged with new tasks and given ample opportunities to prove my capabilities. I appreciate that the people at HFG trust me to take care of their requests and special projects.”

Ruthie Hunt joined in March 2020 as the Receptionist for our Scottsdale, AZ Corporate location. In her role she serves as the greeter, information provider, and quasi air traffic controller. Her vast knowledge of the company and its staff enable proper direction of inquiries from our amazing Clients and Partners with an innate ability to deliver. Marketing Manager Kelsey Waite expresses our Highlight’s hands on approach to everything she touches, “Ruthie is an absolute asset to HFG! She is so helpful and efficient, willing to help with any project and always completing it to the highest level of detail. She is creative, welcoming, and super communicative.” Kelsey adds, “The attitude she brings is unmatched. It is truly a joy to work with her!” We could not agree more.

Ruthie is truly a crafting Maestro! Director of Corporate Culture Caroline Conner shares, “Ruthie’s passion for our Culture is shown in her daily interactions with other Homies, however, her Cricut machine cut outs of our HFG logo with various iron on decals are a testament to her HFG team spirit! We are lucky to have her.”  When not manning HFG’s home base, scrapbooking and sewing are some of her favorite activities, along with making t-shirts and such using iron-on transfers. The shirts are generally for her grandbabies who she enjoys spoiling, bringing her character in their development as they grow. Family is the center of her soul and she spends most of her time with her husband and dog Oliver, as well as playing poker with her 88-year-old father.

While joining us at the start of our transition to a remote workforce, Ruthie is frequently asked for favors from the main office. She comments on the overall Company heartbeat, which she shares, “Everyone at HFG is very thankful, even when I do the smallest task. I absolutely feel valued as an employee. ” As with fingerprints and with snowflakes, there is only one Ruthie. We are so proud to call her a Homie and will continue to support someone whose distinct qualities support Homeowners Financial Group and our employees so well.

3 words that best describe Ruthie: Enthusiastic. Dependable. Genuine.

We are always looking for experienced professionals that are committed to serving the needs of borrowers while maintaining a corporate culture focused on family. If this is you, please contact us for more information on becoming a Homie: www.homeownersfg.com/careers
