This month’s Highlight has a belief in others and a belief that he can make a difference. When asked about his association with a local charitable organization, he shares, “I’m most proud of my partnership with Atlanta Mission.” A long-time contributor focused on the lives of those facing homelessness, he engages with the Mission to invest in the spiritual, personal, and professional development of people. He believes in empowering and coaching others toward excellence. There is excellence in everything he does but above all he is a great friend, great husband and great father.”
Cameron Walters joined Homeowners Financial Group in January 2020 and is based out of our Atlanta, GA branch. As a Producing Sales Manager, Cameron enjoys splitting his time between originating loans for his amazing client base and mentoring his team. In typical Cam fashion, he credits his team for the overall success, which includes Ben Carroll, Carl Craven and Rochelle Franklin. One business partner of his, Christina, speaks to his dedication saying, “Cameron is a rockstar lender! He and his team are amazing with my clients! (I’m a Realtor.) He is the type of professional who makes every client feel like they are his only client. He takes the time to explain everything, so buyers feel confident and informed throughout the process. When Cameron is not providing superior service to his clients and partners, his best life is spent with his wife and their 3 daughters. Typical family activities include rooting for the Crimson Tide football team, his Alma Mater. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Real Estate Finance and also played Division 1 baseball. Summertime means beach time! With feet in the sand, they cherish each tick on the clock together. He takes great pride in his family and their accomplishments.
Back in business, Cam never quits and never settles – which is evident by his SocialSurvey rating of 4.98, a Top 10 ranking, and countless review comments about his passion towards the dream of homeownership. Cameron is a proud member of the President’s Club at Homeowners for his mortgage volume in 2020. On a national level, he was recently recognized by Mortgage Executive Magazine on their annual list of the Top 1% of Mortgage Originators in America for 2020, which has a required production criteria of at least $30MM, as well as a 2021 Top Originator by Scotsman Guide in the “Most Loans Closed” category. This year, he was also chosen as a member of our company’s prestigious CEO Roundtable, a small group of early adopters and thought leaders with the experience and commitment to selflessly give to the company.
With the recent Homeowners expansion into the Southeast, he talks about his journey and the organization’s support of Team Walters expressing, “Coming to Homeowners has been the best career decision I’ve ever made. We have created our own brand in the Atlanta market by continuing the culture already built by Bill Rogers (CEO/Founder) and so many other wonderful people who have been with Homeowners for so long.
