Danielle Swiatek

“Unity is strength… when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.” -Mattie Stepanek, American Poet

Unity – Top Producer and Team Leader Rachelle Coffey professes, “(She) is a true blessing to our team. Every day she starts with a smile which brightens us all and is the best way to start each and every day. Since joining the team she has never had a bad day, which spikes team morale and helps us all keep a positive focus. Her continued willingness to help in any way she can has allowed me to become a better leader.” A common analogy for Unity is described as the members of a crew team all taking an oar and driving forward at a known, consistent pace, all with the common goal of reaching that finish line and sharing in the rewards together.

Strength – Danielle Swiatek is a Licensed Mortgage Professional Assistant and one of the original Homies here at Homeowners. She recently came back home, rejoining us in September 2020. “I feel incredibly supported by management and my amazing team! On the Coffey Team, we all encourage and support each other and take care of each other like family,” Danielle shares. “I love that I’m able to flex my strengths to support my team and Homeowners, and still continuously learn new things along the way. I appreciate that members of the management team regularly check in with me too!” There is a resounding strength in family, and treating each other as such is one of our core values at Homeowners.

Teamwork – In her role, Danielle must be quick and nimble and always act with timely purpose for the benefit of the many families her team is blessed to work with. In regard to the support she receives from those around her, Danielle expresses, “To me, value starts with being seen and heard as an employee and as a person. I definitely feel this at Homeowners in so many ways, and with every single co-worker or manager I’ve interacted with.” As Homeowners Financial Group just held our first all company State of the Union (SOTU) in almost 2 years, she reflects on the journey forward: “As I looked around at SOTU this year and listened to all of the presentations that spoke of our growth and accomplishments, I couldn’t help but feel an immense amount of pride. It was so special to hear about and see the growth of Homeowners.” With teammates like Danielle, we know goals can be achieved and we can excel in fulfilling homeownership dreams.

Collaboration – Danielle’s constant positivity about work and life shines as she works with many parties in creating a superior experience for our Clients. Her responsibilities include covering the entire loan origination process, leveraging both human and technological opportunities, and providing critical updates to everyone involved. There is a strong sense of pride in her ability to answer a question before it is asked, which reduces a typically stressful situation into a very positive homebuying experience. Rachelle adds, “Many are not aware that she is working remotely in New York, which means half the year she is 3 hours ahead of our team’s primary location in Arizona. While a time difference can be a nuisance to some, neither the team nor the clients ever feel an impact. Sometimes we think she might be an alien – she never skips a beat, no matter what! 😊”

Achievement – Nitesh Patel, VP of Production Management & Closing, shares: “I’ve had the privilege to work with Danielle over the years under several different capacities. She is by far someone that has a superior work ethic and defines what we all talk about with Homeowners culture. Her attitude and spirit are contiguous, and she is always willing to help no matter what the task is. Congrats on the spotlight, as it is very much deserved!” Recognition is a vital part of our company’s DNA and with her recent return Danielle points out, “It especially makes my heart happy to see the culture is still thriving through each employee that is part of the company.” While our workforce remains mostly remote, she adds, “You can’t spell mortgage without the letters FUN. Wait, just kidding, yes you can. But in all seriousness, things like virtual meetings have helped and so has being a part of the Culture Committee! These things really help to stay connected to others even from afar!”

Outside of work, Danielle is incredibly active both in the great outdoors and causes that she is passionate about. Living in the Buffalo, NY area, she enjoys skiing in the winter and time spent on the lake in the summer, as well as listening to live music. Cooking with her family using fresh ingredients from their garden warms her heart. Danielle’s heart is also very much a part of Project 33, a nonprofit organization that was founded to preserve the memories of U.S. Special Operations soldiers killed in action since September 11, 2001. As a founding Board Member she lives the mission for the organization that supports so many families: These humble warriors do not ask for our recognition of their ultimate sacrifice; therefore, we are compelled to ensure that the American people know the true magnitude of their service, and continue their legacy.

Danielle’s focus is always on others, which is even more of a reason why we focus on her to end the 2021 year. We thank you for your continued excellence and look forward to supporting you in all things.
