What you think, you become.
What you feel, you attract.
What you imagine, you create.

Think – Feel – Imagine describes the energies put toward interacting with others. As a whole, we Become – Attract – and Create something much bigger than ourselves. This package is like catching lightning in a bottle which all lead to this month’s Highlight, Margo Cobb. Chief Brand Officer David King summarizes the organization’s feelings: “She is humble, kind, and absolutely hilarious. She is a pleasure to be around and is an amazing teammate. Oh, and she’s an incredibly talented Graphic Artist. A true asset to the Marketing team, to our sales force, and to Homeowners all around. Thank you for all you do.”
Margo is a Marketing Designer based out of the Scottsdale, AZ corporate office who will be celebrating her 5 year Homieversary in 2023. In her role, she works alongside the Marketing team to create visual concepts and communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate our clients and partners. She excels at developing the overall layout and production design with multiple formats such as advertisements, brochures, and educational/informational content. She works closely with Senior Leaders delivering on company branding initiatives as well as unique requests from our originators using her witty mind for specific themes or individual markets. Her creativity and charm shine bright in her work and also within the department. Hannah Rogers, Digital Marketing Coordinator, expresses, “If you know Margo (and you should thank your lucky stars if you do!), then you know she infuses humor (especially puns), creativity, and helping others into everything she does. She has the biggest heart and I can’t think of a more amazing person to have in our corner.”
This fall brings two special events to Homeowners, both of which Margo has a strong hand in flourishing. As her most favorite day of the year she continues to create happiness for others on Halloween in a typical over-the-top approach to most things. As a contributing member to our Culture Committee, she knows how this attracts others to the spirit of celebration and our Homies sharing smiles together. Homeowners is also actively implementing a new purpose-built CRM and customer engagement platform to drive growth and loyalty for modern lenders. This has given Margo a creative clean slate to imagine new connection and communication opportunities for our relationship lending activities.
When Margo is not crushing artistic projects, she takes her high energy and passion with her to the gym. She is an avid CrossFit enthusiast and wears the scars of the game proudly having competed with her teammates in many challenges. She and husband Tom wind down at home where they are purr-fect animals lovers, currently with 3 cats: Cotton, Miss Wittles and Shadow. Their favorite Arizona evenings are spent in their backyard with family, friends, the pool, the patio, and some of the finest mezcal.
Recognizing our people is what we do – it’s built into our core values. Putting her passion into everything is what she does – it’s built into her DNA. As another fall holiday approaches, we are thankful to have Margo as part of our family and everything she bring to the table. From the person that felt it first and attracted Margo to us, Caroline Conner, Director of Corporate Culture, SPHR happily states, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen her not smiling! Margo beams positivity and she is always a pleasure to work with.”
3 words that best describe Margo: Creative. Punny. Passionate.
