Abraham Lincoln stated of his preparation, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”  The statement resonates with this month’s Highlight as he owns his journey with Homeowners Financial Group and continuously creates excellent client experiences. Expressing the passion he shares with his teammates, he says, “I truly enjoy coming to work each and every day. I love helping people make one of the biggest decisions they may have in their lifetime, the purchase of a home. A bonus is working alongside individuals that feel the same way.” He adds about the heartbeat of the organization, “Even though team members are spread all over the country, it still feels we are all one big family in the same office.” Time to hug it out for sure.

Nicholas Schulte is a Licensed Mortgage Professional Assistant working out of the St. Louis Park, MN location since October 2018. In his role, priority one is to drive client success. Working with multiple originators in the market, Regional Manager Brett Toyne explains, “Nicholas is the perfect example of how HFG provides Loan Officers the ability to grow their business. Nick can step into any situation and shine. Not just with a smile but also with his dedication to the homeownership experience.” The smile is a million bucks but your attention to detail is priceless!

Outside of the office, Nicholas epitomizes the phrase ‘Work to Live.’ He and his wife Svetlana are enjoying every moment as new parents, recently celebrating daughter Sophia’s first birthday in June. As a family living in the Midwest, they take every advantage of the summer months going kayaking, rock climbing and riding their mountain bikes. We can’t wait to see the pictures on social media of Nicholas and Svetlana teaching their daughter to ride along with them and snowboard during the winter months.

Back at work, Nicholas talks about the support he has in his continued preparation of excellence. “Since day one HFG has provided me with the training necessary to perform my job to the best of my abilities. There is always someone willing to teach me and willing to answer my questions. As I take on more responsibilities, HFG will be there to support me, not hold my hand, but provide the necessary tools and training to do so.”

This family man and incredible employee also understands the importance of the community in which Sophia will be raised. Participating in our charitable initiatives, he adds, “I am proud of the charity efforts that our team members participate in all over the country. I am proud of the families we were able to feed during our March Food Drive. I am proud of the winter clothes we provided Minnesota families during our clothing drive last year. I am proud to be a Homie!” We are proud to have you as an employee, which are our greatest assets, and look forward to providing you everything for continued success.

3 words that best describe Nicholas:  Preparation. Commitment. Energy.

We are always looking for experienced professionals that are committed to serving the needs of borrowers while maintaining a corporate culture focused on family. If this is you, please contact us for more information on becoming a Homie: www.homeownersfg.com/careers
