“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” -African Proverb
This month’s Highlight is the epitome of team. The epitome of together. The epitome of to-do. The epitome of taking action! In his own words, he expresses, “I’m lucky enough to be on a team that puts our local community and charity at the forefront. Every month, we do a raffle drawing from a collection of our closed client’s favorite charities and the lucky winner receives a donation for every loan we close that month. Knowing that the hard work we put in not only helps our clients buy homes and save money, but also supports local charities, makes me very proud to be a part of this team. I’m even prouder to see these values reflected across HFG as a whole.” Homeowners Financial Group could not be prouder of our Highlight and what he brings to his team and to his community.
Scott Lindberg is a Licensed Mortgage Professional Assistant with the Lampson Team in our Santa Barbara, CA branch, celebrating his first Homieversary last month. Scott’s focus resonates on things outside of himself, as he asserts, “Everyone works together with a positive attitude to make it happen for our clients, our partners, and for each other.” Originating Branch Manager and the face of the Lampson Team, Austin Lampson describes the value Scott brings to the table, “Knowledgeable, patient, skilled and with a wicked sense of Dad humor, Scott Lindberg is truly one-of-a-kind and we are so grateful to have him as our Team Captain. Always there to help explain the process, cohesively work with realtors, buyers and our fabulous Operations staff, he is a true gift to our industry. He leads with his heart, and is an amazing trainer with an encyclopedic knowledge of guidelines. I am honored to get to work with him on a daily basis, but even more privileged to count him as my best friend. THANK YOU Scott for being the Ginger Jab!”
When Scott is not fueling his team to success, he enjoys the creative arts. Prior to the pandemic, Scott and his wife were live show junkies, attending almost 20 concerts and comedy shows last year. Traveling to the events was a big high point as it allowed them to explore new cities and all they have to offer. While in a remote situation, he has picked up the guitar and the paintbrush, enjoying these outlets at home and making some masterpieces we look forward to hearing and seeing soon.
In Scott’s constant desire to make those around him better, he says, “I do feel strongly that I’ve been encouraged to take on more of a leadership role to help train and guide my teammates in the ways of the Lampson Team. I couldn’t be prouder of how far they’ve come this year!” As Scott discusses his own appreciation for team, he adds to the overall philosophy of the company: “It’s obvious that HFG puts a focus on employees and finds many ways to recognize and support us. The recognition walls, anniversary gifts, and all the other ways management and fellow employees show their appreciation definitely make an impact.” What is also obvious is Scott’s drive and passion for helping others. His teammates and his clients always remain in focus and HFG is excited to continue to provide the tools to be successful and support to make it happen.
3 words that best describe Scott: Supportive. Collaborative. Consistent.
