About Mark Auger

Mark Auger was born in Sturbridge, Massachusetts and started his career in the mortgage industry in 1998. He has closed thousands of mortgage loans in his career and had the honor of serving some of the same homeowners for two decades in the Atlanta area. 

Mark also had a career as a professional Opera singer and won international awards while performing for heads of state including American Senators, Presidents and the Pope.

Mark has founded two successful mortgage companies and also led a very successful career in real estate investment. He has acquired and managed both short and long-term rental properties. He has managed large-scale renovation and new construction projects including a 76 unit apartment complex and some of the finest rental cabins in Blue Ridge, Georgia.

As the principal developer, Mark recently founded Pinhoti Summit, a community of mountain modern homes in Ellijay, Georgia. At 3,000 feet, Pinhoti Summit is the highest elevation community in the state of Georgia. Mark personally supervised the design and construction of Altus House, a showcase mountain modern home that was featured on A&E’s million dollar mountain home and sold at a Gilmer county record price/sf.

Mark’s true passion is guiding borrowers through the home ownership process and being a quarterback for the loan process. A true real estate expert, Mark has cultivated a network of some of the best contractors and home service providers in the industry to serve his network of borrowers and real estate professionals.
