Nitesh Patel

Victor Hugo wisely said, “To put everything in balance is good, to put everything in harmony is better.” This sentiment could have been crafted with Nitesh Patel in mind. The recently elevated EVP and National Operations Manager for Homeowners Financial Group embodies harmony in every facet of his life. Whether it’s in the structured corridors of Scottsdale, AZ, or the vast expanses of his global travels, Nitesh has a unique knack for striking the perfect balance. Echoing this sentiment, Mahatma Gandhi’s words resonate: “Happiness is when you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony.”

Nitesh initiated his melodious journey with Homeowners Financial Group in 2007, quickly ascending from an Accounting Manager role. Since then, he’s been an influential force, helping orchestrate Homeowners’ nationwide growth with a serene, coordinated tune. Through market ebbs and flows, Nitesh demonstrated how a balanced approach could not only weather challenges but also lead to emerging stronger.  Something on full display given the current market headwinds and daily obstacles to overcome.  Reflecting on the current and future path, Nitesh shared, “My main objective is to ensure our company’s core values resonate in everything we do, meeting our clients’ expectations. I’m committed to working synergistically with our leadership, addressing challenges and rejoicing in our collective achievements.”

Nitesh’s leadership embodies a blend of balance and precision. He consistently aligns productivity with budget, integrating strategies that optimize organizational processes. As a guiding light, Nitesh equips his team with the knowledge needed to traverse the nuanced realm of mortgage lending, ensuring clarity and consistency every step of the way. A stickler for details, he emphasizes the importance of accuracy in everything, providing tools to be successful, while encouraging his people to make their own mark.  Nitesh commonly steps in to provide swift and clear resolutions with a broad set of experiences and lenses to look through. With a watchful eye, he ensures the loan process flows smoothly, keeping everything on track and timely. His proactive stance extends to system evaluations, always seeking avenues for increased efficiency. In all his endeavors, Nitesh’s approach champions guidance and support over micromanagement, showcasing his commitment to both excellence and his team.

Lisa Bain, National Closing Manager, adds her melody, “I’ve had the privilege of collaborating alongside Nitesh for more than seven years now.  Not only has he played an integral role in our success, he embodies the qualities of a leader who is always ready to tackle challenges.  Throughout this time, I’ve invested significant time in getting to know his character.  He is someone that takes pride in his work, prioritizes other’s needs, and offers a compassionate ear when it’s needed. And of course, we can’t overlook his knack for providing spot-on memes that never fail to make us laugh.”  Lisa is hits that target as Nitesh is never lacking a comical take to insert a tone or introduce a lighthearted pop culture element into a business-y setting.

Personal Harmonies:
A true Arizonian, Nitesh graduated from Arizona State University, majoring in Accounting. When away from the corporate sphere, he blends effortlessly with nature, be it through hiking or embracing the outdoors. An avid traveler, he’s journeyed to over 15 countries, with the breathtaking landscapes of Machu Picchu next on his list. At the office, his Goldendoodle “King” Henry offers a playful counterbalance while also serving as a quasi-employee, or mascot. While Nitesh has an undeniable sweet side, a knack for bringing in high end donuts to share with the office, he draws a line at black licorice jelly beans. And his snickerdoodle cookies? They’re a balanced blend of perfection.

Colleague Overtures:

Rachelle Coffey, award winning Licensed Mortgage Professional adds her lyrics to the page, “When I first joined the organization 11 years ago, Nitesh was the welcoming committee with Elsie Campbell (The Original Homie). He was so willing to help in any way he could to make the transition seamless. There was something special about him from day one and I wanted him to be a part of my life. I can say clearly, anyone that has had the pleasure of being around Nitesh just gets it. There is something about him that draws you to him with the most profound being his selfless nature, always putting himself last for the needs of others.”  In a balanced lighter side, Rachelle notes “This year we are on the same fantasy league and even though he is 3-0 kicking all our butts…he still makes sure to reach out remind others who to play and not to play that week.  Always thinking of others 😊.”

Chief Operating Officer Nelson DeLeon, ”Nitesh has always been a champion in providing excellent customer service while managing the Closing Department and now he is showing even more leadership skills has he manages all Operational Teams.  I am grateful for all he is done thus far with implementing efficiency changes with positive financial impacts and I look forward to even greater opportunities for operational improvement and success. Thank you, Nitesh!”

In the grand orchestra of life, Nitesh Patel is a maestro, ensuring every note, every beat, is in perfect harmony.  It is no coincidence that his qualities and broad impact on our employees see him as the #1 recipient of company Impressions.  An internal badge system of awarding others in the company to recognize going above and beyond, or even a simple Homie Hi-Five.  Our happiness has been watching and supporting Nitesh’s growth both as a person and a critical part of our success in completing the dream of homeownership for so many.
