WOW Factor – a quality or feature that is extremely impressive
Our Highlight this month could put his face next to Merriam-Webster’s definition of WOW. The level in which he operates combined with his genuine approach to life can only be explained by those he serves:
Rachelle Coffey & the Coffey Team Top Producing Sales Team – Peoria, AZ
“He takes pride in his work and truly exemplifies the Homeowners culture in all that he does. He treats us like his own family and is always willing to help! We’re grateful for his positivity, his dedication and his supportive approach!”
Daniel Wolfley Client Coordinator, Conner Group – Phoenix, AZ
“He always goes above and beyond for me and our clients. He makes sure that the file is reviewed properly the first time. He is always available to discuss any family’s transaction and provides researched answers for any questions we have. It is always a pleasure to work with him.”
Alvaro Loureiro Top Producing Branch Manager – Tampa, FL
“He works with a great sense of urgency and execution and is always willing to go the extra mile.”
Ronnie Rasso is a Senior Underwriter and recently celebrated his 9th Homieversary, starting with Homeowners in 2012. Reflecting on his journey to present day, Ronnie describes, “It’s so awesome to see how much Homeowners has grown over the last 9 years and yet our culture and values have never changed. And in my opinion, they have only gotten stronger. From the executive team to the sales teams to operations – I get to be a part of a team that cares about each other, the community, and our clients. These are the value I try to instill in my personal life and it’s great to work for a company that matches my values.”
The Homeowners mission statement is also fine-tuned with Ronnie and how he goes about his workday: ‘We are in the business of home ownership and retain our clients for their lifelong mortgage lending needs.’ His attitude and aptitude are summed up from another Top Producing Originator, Kevin Brumit, “Ronnie is a GREAT Underwriter, and he is always willing to help out. If he sees something and needs more info, instead of simply emailing his concerns, he calls and tries to work up a solution!
He is forever in love with his high school sweetheart and the joys of his life are their 3 kids: 10, 7 and 3 years old. When Ronnie is not assisting families in homeownership, he enjoys hiking the trails around AZ with his family and taking their kids to soccer and basketball practice. During his down time, Ronnie prefers long distance running. Early Sunday mornings you can find him jogging between 6-10 miles (when the days are under 100 degrees, of course). Fun fact: Ronnie completed the LA Marathon in a little over 5 hours.
Back on the job Ronnie speaks deeper on his career with us and the supportive structure Homeowners provides saying; “I started my career with Homeowners in August 2012 as a QA Specialist with the goal of becoming a mortgage Underwriter. Homeowners management paired me with great and very patient mentors who helped me achieve my goals, and I was able to learn from the best underwriters in the industry. In 2016 I received my FHA DE designation, in 2018 my VA LAPP and more recently my VA SAR. I owe all my career accomplishments to the support Homeowners has given me. I also have to give a shot out to my UW crew who are always there for me.”
WOW is real and so is Ronnie. Looking back on a challenging work atmosphere the last year and a half, he illustrates, “The ultimate measure of a company is not where we stand in moments of comfort but where we stand in times of challenges. Looking back at 2020 I’m proud of how our Homies banded together when times got tough. This is how Homies roll.” Homie is a term of endearment at Homeowners Financial Group with Ronnie exuding every aspect, and we look forward to supporting him, his family and his community. People are the core of our success and we are committed to the best workplace environment while encouraging individual accomplishments to over 500 Homies nationally.
3 words that best describe Ronnie (we needed 4): Faith, Family, Friends, Fun
